Paul Stitt, M.S. (Biochemistry, University of Wisconsin), founded Natural Ovens Bakery in 1976 because he saw a need for fresh, satisfying bread. Today, 30 years later, we still provide the same quality ingredients not just to bread, but to our bagels, buns, granola and flax complete.

Our outlet store/gift shop is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m., and from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturdays.

Natural Ovens is located in Manitowoc County along the western shore of beautiful Lake Michigan. We are about an hour and thirty minutes north of Milwaukee on Interstate Highway 43. As a matter of fact, you will see our building to the east as you head north on I-43.

From the South: Interstate -43 North to exit #144-(Hwy C). At the stop sign, take a right onto Highway C, then at the next stop sign take a left onto County Road CR. Travel north for approximately 2 miles, we are on the left-look for the large flag.

From the North: I-43 South to Exit #149- Hwy 151 Left at stoplights onto Hwy 151, then right at the next stop lights turn right onto the frontage road by the Holiday Inn. Turn right at the stop sign onto County Road CR. Travel south for approximately 2 miles, we are on the right.

From the West: Take Hwy.10 to I-43 South to Exit #149 -Hwy. 151 Left at stoplights onto Hwy 151, then right at the next stop lights turn right onto the frontage road by the Holiday Inn. Turn right at stop sign onto County Road CR. Travel south for approximately 2 miles, we are on the right.
