
A delicious and simple snack or quick lunch!
Ingredients:
- 4 Better Wheat Buns, sliced in half lenghthwise
- 1/2 cup Hummus spread (pick your favorite flavor)
- 8 slices tomato, medium thickness
- 6-8 oz. shredded cheese (mozzarella or cheddar preferred)
Directions:
- Preheat toaster oven or broiler.
- Spread 1 Tbsp of hummus onto cut side of each bun half.
- Place a tomato slice on top of each.
- Top each with a generous sprinkle of cheese.
- Place in toaster oven or broiler; heat until cheese is melted and bun begins to turn slightly golden.
- Remove from toaster oven or broiler, let cool, and enjoy.
