
This classic stuffing is so delicious and simple, there's no reason to get stuffing from a box.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups water
- 1/3 cup dry celery, chopped
- 1/3 cup onion, chopped
- 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1/8 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/8 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/8 teaspoon celery seed
- 10 slices of any Natural Ovens whole grain bread, toasted
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh parsley
Directions:
- In a medium saucepan, combine first seven ingredients. Bring to a boil.
- Meanwhile, cut toast into 1/2 inch cubes.
- Remove saucepan from heat. Add bread and parsley. Mix gently.
- Cover and let stand 5-10 minutes.
- Serve promptly.
