Quick and Easy Stuffing

This classic stuffing is so delicious and simple, there's no reason to get stuffing from a box.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups low sodium broth, chicken or vegetable
  • 1/3 cup dry celery, chopped
  • 1/3 cup onion, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/8 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/8 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/8 teaspoon celery seed
  • 10 slices of any Natural Ovens whole grain bread, toasted
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh parsley

Directions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine first seven ingredients. Bring to a boil.
  2. Meanwhile, cut toast into 1/2 inch cubes.
  3. Remove saucepan from heat. Add bread and parsley. Mix gently.
  4. Spread in 9 x 13 pan and bake for 25 minutes at 350.
  5. Serve promptly.
